What does SDRO mean?

SDRO means State Debt Recovery Office, and it means that you’ve gotten a fine.

GoGet receives fines from government agencies because we are the registered owner of the cars. We then investigate who had the car during that time, and ask the SDRO to allocate the fine to the responsible member. We also add a $25 admin fee to your account to cover the administrative cost of allocating the fine and signing a statutory declaration.

Examples of fines that will come to GoGet include:

  • Speeding fines taken from speed cameras
  • Red light cameras
  • Parking fines allocated after your booking has ended (for example, if you return the car in the pod parked in the wrong direction, or park in a timed no stopping zone)
  • Overdue parking fines
